This will be the first and only time this season that the Regina Pats and the Portland Winterhawks will meet this season. In their only game last year, played at the Brandt Centre last season the Pats picked up a 5-3 win over the Portland Winterhawks.
The 'Hawks took a 3-1 lead in the second period, only to see the Pats scored 4 straight goals from Brett Leffler, Matt Strueby, Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal. Also adding a goal, and picking up a fighting major was Garrett Mitchell.
The last time these two met in Portland it was at the Memorial Coliseum, Portland slid one by the Pats 4-3 while Travis Ehrhardt had a goal and an assist in the win.

Almost half of Pats players are making their first trip through the U.S. Division: Damien Ketlo, Dawson Guhle, Brandon Davidson, Myles Bell, Hampus Gustafsson, Kyle Mulder, Jordan Weal, Dominick Favreau, Tomas Hricina, Travis Sparrow, Andrew Rieder, Tyler Borstmayer.
Making Their Return:
Three Pats players are making their return to teams they played for last season. Jason Gardiner faced his former Tri-City 'mates on Saturday, tonight, Killian Hutt will meet up with the Winter Hawks, while Tyler Parker will face Everett on Friday.
Team WHL Captains:
Jordan Eberle and Colten Teubert were both named to play for team WHL at the Subway Super Series on November 25th in Victoria, B.C. earlier this week, Colten Teubert was named captain of Team WHL, while Jordan Eberle was named an assistant.
The Pats will be without both players for their games in Portland tonight and tomorrow in Seattle.
Defensive Scoring:
3 of the Pats top 10 scorers man the Pats blue line with Colten Teubert leading the defencemen in scoring with 20 points; Brandon Davidson has 18 while Cody Carlson has 12 points.
